Are signatures from Sign Zone legally valid in India?
Yes. Sign Zone is fully compliant with Section 3A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which gives electronic signatures the same legal standing as handwritten ones. Every signed document is hash-verified with SHA-256 and ships with an auto-generated audit trail certificate as part of the final PDF.
Your first 10 documents are completely free with full access to every feature — three signing methods, multi-signer workflows, audit trails, branded emails, and the entire dashboard. No credit card needed, no time limit. After your 10th document, it's just ₹10 per signed document. Pay only when you send.
Three methods, all legally valid under IT Act 2000: (1) OTP verification — a 6-digit code sent to the signer's registered email, (2) Hand-drawn signature — sign with mouse, trackpad, or touchscreen, (3) Image upload — upload a PNG or JPG of your existing signature. The signer chooses whichever method they prefer per document.
Yes. Sign Zone supports both sequential signing (party A signs first, then party B, etc.) and parallel signing (all signers can sign at the same time). You set the flow and order when you add signers. Each signer receives a unique secure email link.
No. Signers receive a secure tokenised link directly in their email and can sign without registering. They get a branded notification, click through, verify via OTP / draw / upload, and they're done. Only the document initiator needs a Sign Zone account.
Sign Zone has a built-in wallet that tracks your usage. After your first 10 free documents, every signed document costs ₹10 and is deducted from your wallet balance. You can top up your wallet anytime in any amount. Every transaction is logged with full history visible in your dashboard.
All documents are stored securely in your account with a full chronological audit trail. The final signed PDF includes a tamper-proof SHA-256 audit certificate as the last page. You can download originals and signed copies anytime from your dashboard.
All data transmission is over HTTPS with SSL/TLS encryption. Document integrity is verified with SHA-256 hashing. Access is role-based (admin / initiator / signer), and every document action — viewed, signed, downloaded, cancelled — is logged in an immutable audit trail visible on every document.
